East Napa’s Little Italy is one of Napa’s most distinctive historic neighborhoods, shaped by generations of Italian immigrants and the city’s early industrial growth. This webinar will explore the neighborhood’s history, the findings of the City’s 2010 historic survey, and what historic recognition and preservation actually mean.
We’ll also look at the current planning process for the Third Street/Silverado Trail intersection, how historic resources are being considered, and how preservation can help ensure that Little Italy’s history and character remain part of East Napa’s future.
The webinar is free and open to the public and will take place September 9 from noon to 1 p.m. The program will begin with a short presentation on the history of Little Italy, the 2010 historic survey, and the current planning process, followed by an open discussion and Q&A. The webinar will be recorded and posted to Napa County Landmarks’ YouTube channel for those unable to attend live.
