An Evening with Leo Marmol, FAIA: “Preservation as Innovation”

Join Napa County Landmarks for an evening with renowned architect Leo Marmol, FAIA, co-founder of Los Angeles–based firm Marmol Radziner.

“Preservation must become a forward-thinking practice that keeps heritage relevant in the present.” – Leo Marmol

What happens when preservation no longer fits the moment?

Leo Marmol, FAIA, co-founder of Marmol Radziner, brings decades of experience restoring some of the country’s most significant modernist landmarks into a candid, forward-looking conversation about where the field is headed. Preservation as Innovation examines the growing disconnect between traditional practice and contemporary realities—and offers a compelling case for a more adaptive, responsive approach.

Set within the historic Hatt Room at Napa River Inn, the evening begins with a wine reception, followed by the lecture and an open Q&A.

This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of the leading voices shaping the future of preservation.
