About Shari Kamimori and 3DVDT:

Shari Kamimori is a design and technology professional with over 38 years of experience at the intersection of architectural design, and emerging digital technologies. She is the President and Founder of 3D Virtual Design Technology, Inc. (3DVDT), a Bay Area–based firm specializing in reality capture and digital documentation for the architectural, engineering, construction, and historic preservation sectors. After living and working in Germany for over a decade, Shari developed a global perspective and a deep appreciation for precision documentation standards and cultural heritage preservation, which continue to inform her work today. Her work has been published in LiDAR News, and her firm has supported notable heritage sites including Fort Point, The French Laundry, the Fox Theater, and several Napa-listed buildings such as Goodman Library, the Gordon Building, Franklin Station USPS, and the First National Bank. A certified Women’s Business Enterprise, Shari promotes inclusive professional partnerships and supplier diversity, and she has served as a Board Member of Napa County Landmarks since 2013.
