Since 1985, the Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company has been a cornerstone of the Napa community. Inspired by the timeless charm of European cafés, we first began roasting in a landmark Victorian building, bringing a fresh, artisanal approach to the Valley long before it was a trend.

By 1991, we expanded our footprint to downtown St. Helena, solidifying our reputation as the region’s premier roaster. For decades, we’ve been the “secret ingredient” behind the signature blends served at Napa’s most acclaimed wineries and world-class restaurants.

A New Chapter: The Riverfront
While our roots are deep, we are thrilled to be growing. We have officially moved from our original flagship at 948 Main Street to our beautiful new home at 710 Main Street at the Riverfront. This move represents a fresh chapter for us, offering the same vintage soul and exceptional coffee in a vibrant, modern setting right by the water.

Our Craft & Sourcing
Quality isn’t just a goal; it’s our nightly ritual. We source nine to ten premium single-origin coffees from the world’s most renowned growing regions across Indonesia, Africa, and the Americas.

Small-Batch Precision: We roast in 20-pound batches to ensure total control over every bean.

Peak Freshness: Our master roasters work 4 to 6 nights a week so that the coffee in your cup is as fresh as possible.

Tailored Profiles: Every roast is specifically designed to highlight the unique terroir and flavor characteristics of its origin.
