Welcome to “Est.20+” an initiative that celebrates landmark businesses that contribute to our region’s unique heritage. The on-line guide is free to join, produced in partnership with the Economic Development Division of the City of Napa. Together, we aim to honor and sustain Napa’s time-honored establishments through recognition and promotional events. At this time, applications are open only to businesses located in the City of Napa; we look forward to expanding the Legacy Business Program to other communities across Napa County in 2026—stay tuned.

What is a Landmark Business?

A Landmark Business has an enduring presence and has made a significant contribution to Napa County’s cultural landscape. To qualify:

Business Requirement: The business must have been in continuous operation for at least 20 years. Even if a business has closed and reopened under similar ownership or with a similar mission, it may still qualify, provided it maintains its identity.

Contribution to County Identity: The business should play an active role in defining the social, cultural, historical, or economic identity of their local community or Napa County as a whole.
