Center Building

I've worried about this building since the 2014 earthquake and the significant damage it obviously suffered. I was concerned enough that I sought out the building's owner, Brian Silver, to interview him and to ask him what his plans were. Did he plan to rebuild? Why did he resistant to do the earthquake retrofitting that the city wanted done to all masonry buildings that weren't re-enforced? That work would certainly have minimized the damage, if not actually saving it from any destruction. Wasn't he worried about having sit empty and nonproductive? Obviously the City of Napa had gotten tired of waiting and the clock has run out. As I write this, 810 Brown is in the final throes of complete demolition.
