The Art & Architecture of Tulocay Cemetery – Spring (Postponed)

Join Napa County Landmarks and Rebecca Yerger, historian, historic preservation consultant and Napa Valley Register columnist, for this Spring walking tour.

Held on historically traditional day known as Decoration Day.
Saturday May 30, 2020
 from 10 AM – NOON

at Tulocay Cemetery 411 Coombsville Rd., Napa.

Established in 1859, Tulocay Cemetery has been the steward of the final resting place of long-ago Napa Valley residents, and others, for generations.

This Spring 2020 tour will cover the architectural style, designs, symbolism and the life stories those at rest at the featured stops.

The tour will also highlight a new area of Tulocay Cemetery as well as provide an overview of the property’s landscape and it’s importance to the historical sense of time and place.

Tulocay Memorial Mausoleum.

The tour begins through the original iron gates at the Tulocay Memorial Mausoleum on the left. The Mausoleum is near of the old office where parking is also available. Check in begins at 9:45 AM.
