NCL Inaugural High School Scholarship Program

To encourage the next generation of historic preservationists, Napa County Landmarks (NCL) is proud to announce the first annual scholarships for graduating Napa County high school seniors for 2019. NCL is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the appreciation and preservation of historic buildings, sites and districts through educational programs, public policy, research and technical assistance. NCL awarded six $1000 scholarships to applicants responses to the question: Why is historic preservation important?  Winners were selected and scholarships were presented at each high school’s award ceremony.

Napa High School winners were Sophia Fischer and David Silva seen here with NCL presenters Annie Schaefer and Marie Dolcini.

Vintage High School winners were Ryan Olson and Connor Castelazo seen here with NCL presenter Annie Schaefer.

 

New Tech High School winner was Cameron Causey seen with NCL Presenters Annie Schaefer and Ernie Schlobohm.

St. Helena High School winner was Alexander Sklan.
