Napa’s Historic Preservation Ordinance Public Workshop

You are invited to attend and offer comments regarding a proposed update to the City of Napa Historic Preservation and Conservation Ordinance.

The City of Napa will hold an open house to present a proposed update to the Ordinance at a community workshop on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 10am-12pm, at the Napa County Library Community Room. The workshop is being held to provide information on the regulatory changes being proposed and to receive input and comments from the public.

The Update includes proposals to consolidate and integrate procedures, clarify historic review requirements and review authorities, and revise and simplify ordinance language so that it is easier to understand and interpret (e.g., less technical and more user-friendly).

Owners of historic properties, area residents and business owners, and anyone with an interest in historic preservation are encouraged to attend. Your input is the key to ensuring the Update achieves these goals.

For more information, please contact the City of Napa Planning Division at
Phone number (707) 257-9530.
