History Mystery Scavenger Hunt – August 21st

Napa County Landmarks is proud to announce

Looking for a local adventure for all ages
with a potential of winning great prizes?

Then join local historian & preservation consultant, Rebecca Yerger, for a “History Mystery Scavenger Hunt!” Along the way discover fascinating, even unique, however frequently overlooked local historical gems.

Open to all abilities and ages, however please note,
children 12 years old and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult.

WHEN: Saturday, August 21st, 10:00 AM

WHERE: Veterans Park, corner of Second and Main Streets

 

In celebration of the beginning of the new school year,
and in keeping with our mission to provide educational opportunities,
Napa County Landmarks has changed the
History Mystery Scavenger Hunt to a FREE event!!

However, it would be helpful if you would like to register.

National Alliance of Preservation Commissions

National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC)   Mission Helps communities build strong local preservation programs and leaders through education, training, and advocacy.   The National Alliance of Preservation Commissions (NAPC) was founded in 1983 in response to amendments to the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. These amendments provided financial assistance to local governments that met requirements of the Certified Local Government program, including the establishment of a local preservation ordinance and commission. NAPC was formed to provide a forum for commissions to discuss mutual problems and to serve as a national voice representing the particular needs of commissions.
