A Napa Coloring Book Distribution
In honor of May as Historic Preservation Month, Napa County Landmarks (NCL) distributed free coloring books to all Napa County third graders. A Napa Coloring Book is a history of Napa County, that was written by Marie Dolcini, past NCL Board Member, and was illustrated by Mary Ann Henderson. In 2015 this bilingual coloring book received the Governor’s Historic Preservation Award.
Pictured here are the AmeriCorps volunteers who assembled the books for third graders of the NVUSD at the Napa County Office of Education (NCOE). All other third grade classes in Napa County were delivered separately.
