For over forty five years, Napa County Landmarks has been offering life enriching events and programs that explore Napa County’s cultural heritage, placing a special emphasis on the roles of historic architecture. We have a lot of great programs, walking tours, workshops, and fundraising events planned for 2019. Walking Tours & Bicycle Tours
Napa County includes Napa, Yountville, Calistoga, St. Helena, American Canyon and various small communities within the county. We have seen highs and lows through our fascinating history here in Napa County, and our tours provide a fresh look at the amazing houses, people, and buildings that give Napa County and its beautiful towns and cities a one-of-a-kind character. Our tours provide an opportunity to view private homes and gardens, meet leaders in Historic Preservation, and stroll the charming streets of places such as Calistoga and St. Helena. Dine at great outdoor restaurants, stay at a five-star waterfront resort, and escape the winter doldrums while discovering the area’s surprising cultural heritage.
Events & Programs
In part, the economic success of towns and communities across our county depends on strong preservation and protection of our historic resources. Napa County Landmarks highlights the success of our community members, preservation leaders, and our towns, cities, and county through special events.
Ten Threatened Treasures + One
Each year, Napa County Landmarks presents an annual list that spotlights endangered architectural and cultural heritage properties within Napa County. This year, we are highlighting threatened properties in the city of Napa as well as up-valley areas.
